Austin Chapter of NAEP/TAEP TAEP is working with the NAEP representatives and a handful of environmental professionals in the Austin area to determine the best way to start up a professional organization in Austin that serves a similar function to what TAEP serves for environmental professionals working in Houston. In the past, TAEP was instrumental in helping the North Texas Chapter of Environmental Professionals to get its foot on the ground. We are exploring how to do the same in Austin and are considering lessons learned from that experience and from the many chapters and subchapters of NAEP around the country. One thing that will definitely be needed to get the ball rolling is a list of interested professionals. If you have colleagues, friends, or any other contacts in the Austin area that you think may be interested, please pass your contact information to Chris.McCarthy@ch2m.com with the subject line Austin TAEP. In addition, anyone interested in assisting with this project is welcome to participate by contacting Chris at the same email.
