Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager – Position #1783

POWER’s Austin and Houston, TX offices are seeking a Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager with 8-12 years experience to manage environmental siting/permitting and planning for large and small utility projects. The successful candidate will have demonstrated expertise in environmental planning and analysis, State and NEPA compliance, public involvement, technical writing, project management, business development in one or more of the following areas: electric transmission lines, fiber optic lines, power generation facilities, and/or gas pipelines. Extensive knowledge and demonstrated expertise in federal and state environmental policy and regulation is required. Responsibilities include coordinating project team work and deliverables, monitoring schedule and budget, business development, and interfacing with internal Project Managers/Staff and clients. This position requires a BS degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related degree, plus at least eight years experience coordinating and managing environmental projects. Experience in proposal writing and presentations a plus. EEO/AA Employer
