The Texas Association of Environmental Professionals (TAEP) is the premier organization for environmental professionals in the State of Texas. One of the primary aims of TAEP is the advancement of the environmental profession and the establishment of a forum to discuss important environmental issues.

Topic:  Employing Non-Invasive Remote Sensing Technologies in Cultural Resource Investigations 

Speaker:   Ashley E. Jones, M.A., RPA

Bio: Ashley Jones has been active in Texas archaeology since 2012, after she graduated from the University of Virginia. She has nine years of experience, which includes cultural resource investigations across Texas, the Southwestern U.S., Okahoma, Ohio and Virginia. These projects included pedestrian surveys, National Registry of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility test excavations, and data recovery investigations of both prehistoric and historic archaeological sites. As a graduate student at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Ashley studied dietary changes of early agriculturalists in Northern Mexico using stable isotopic analyses. Currently she serves as Project Archaeologist for the Houston Office of Raba Kistner, Inc., and as the Principal Investigator for a public archaeology outreach program with the Houston Archeological Society.
