Speaker: Clayton Collier, REM, PWS, General Manager and Sr. Environmental Scientist at Hydrex Environmental Consulting

Topic: Waters of the U.S. interpretation based on Sackett v. EPA

Speaker Bio: Mr. Clayton Collier is a Senior Environmental Scientist serving as the General Manager of Hydrex Environmental Consulting.  Mr. Collier is a 2005 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University earning a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science.  He is a Registered Environmental Manager and certified Professional Wetlands Scientist and spends a considerable amount of his time working on wetland and stream projects dealing with permitting, jurisdictional determinations and mitigation.  He oversees the GIS Department and Drone Division at Hydrex and has extensive experience with project mapping.  The Hydrex Drone Division was started in 2016 and has grown exponentially servicing clients throughout the southeastern United States.  Mr. Collier is a Part 107 Remote Pilot certified by the FAA.  Using photogrammetry and LiDAR, Hydrex provides volumetric and survey analysis for industries including solid waste disposal, surface mining, and wetlands mitigation banks.  A fun fact about Clayton is he is a three-time finisher of the Ironman Texas triathlon.
